The Person Behind MGRA

A rare combination of regulated discipline and emerging-market execution.

MGRA is led by Natosha Ann Wallace, MBA — an independent advisor with 24+ years of enterprise risk and regulatory governance experience inside global banking, and nine years of operating, building, and governing agricultural infrastructure across East Africa.

Tosha has built, validated, and helped govern risk, regulatory, and business continuity programs across U.S. and global financial institutions — work tied to over half a billion dollars in enforcement actions and ranging from issues management framework design to enterprise risk and control architecture. This includes a seven-year tenure as Vice President of Enterprise Risk at MUFG Union Bank, where she collaborated with senior leadership and served as strategic liaison to the Tokyo Head Office, and her current consulting engagement with RSM as an Audit & Risk Validation Consultant supporting Bank of America's regulatory consent orders covering Prepaid Card and BSA/AML programs.

In parallel, she founded Global Industrial Hemp Solutions (GIHS) and The Boon Project - Agriculture with a Purpose --- a paired for-profit and nonprofit platform building circular, sovereign agricultural economies across nine African countries, with operating presence on the ground in Uganda since 2016. That work is not a side project. It is a working case study in blended finance governance, multi-jurisdiction operating model design, and the kind of due diligence family offices, impact funds, and DFIs are paying advisors to help them get right.

The combination — institutional governance discipline and lived emerging-market execution — is what MGRA brings to every engagement. Clients don't need another framework. They need someone who has built, governed, remediated, and stewarded capital in both worlds.

Senior, Scoped, Independent.

Advisory Retainers

Ongoing strategic counsel for principals, boards, or fund leadership. Typically 3–12 month engagements with defined deliverables and senior-level access.
